Holidays Without Rules is a dream-come-true for Sidney Davenport, heroine in The
Guardian's Wildchild. Sidney was famous for breaking the Guardian's
rules on use of her mystical powers - hence the name "Wildchild." After
just one exciting night helping the underground, she ended up facing
Captain Waterhouse who's life revolved around the naval rulebook. She'd
met her match, and fell for his dark eyes. She had to choose between the
passion for her freedom, or give up her lifestyle, and perhaps her
life, for the man she loved.
If
you should invite Sidney to your home during the Christmas holidays, be
prepared for the bizarre, even surreal. She'll likely just pop in and I
do mean "pop" in. Why go through the bother of traffic and crowds when
you can just blink and be there? And if you find decorating your tree
and house a chore, Sidney will have all the glitz and glamour on the
tree and walls in a single breath. All she'll want in return is that you
don't say a word to Greystone, her mentor. Oh, she'd love a cup of egg
nog, hold the booze. The rum is hell on navigating in the spirit world.
And,
when the evening is over, she'll sing a wee song for you. Sidney is
also a talented singer and enthralls audiences with her passion for life
and spirit.
