Author! Author! Blog Bounce!

Another Thursday is upon us...and it's the last Thursday in February! Where is the year going already? How did we get here so fast?

With the Spring and Summer coming up fast, it's getting to be time for all the great book conferences and conventions. Which ones will you be going to? Which ones do you wish you could go to? Here are several that are coming up soon -

London Book Fair is April 15-17 at Earls Court, London. According to their web site, "The London Book Fair encompasses the broad spectrum of the publishing industry and is the global market place and leading business-2-business exhibition for rights negotiation and the sales and distribution of content across print, audio, TV, film and digital channels." AND Omnific will be attending this one for the first time this year! We are so excited to get to see some of our UK authors and readers. Stop by if you happen to be around.

RT Booklovers Convention being held May 1-5 at the Sheraton Crown Center in Kansas City, MO. This is always a great time for authors and readers. They always have informative workshops and fun activities for everyone. Omnific will be attending RT for the third year this year as well as several of our authors. We love going to RT and meeting all of our readers and geting to spend some time with our fabulous authors! (As we get closer, there will be more information on events, giveaways, and where to find our authors!)

Book Expo America (BEA) at Javits Center in New York City May 30-June 1 is a HUGE event for the publishing world. This is a great event for everyone in the industry. From publishers of every genre to great authors you can find it all at BEA. This year you can find Diana Gabaldon, Wally Lamb, Chelsea Handler, and Rick Riordan among others.

RomCon is a great reader's conference to attend. This year it is being held in Colorado Springs June 21-23. Always a fun time with great authors to experience it with, RomCon put together some great panels where you can find out about your favorite Romance Author and some slightly naughty late night events that in the past involved yummy hunky men and chocolate! If you get a chance, RomCon is definitely a fun time!

This year's RWA Conference will be in Atlanta, GA July 17-20. RWA is a great opportunity for authors (published and aspiring) to learn and network. With industry professionals from agents, publishers, editors, and of course established authors that we fangirl over from time to time, an up and coming author can have get a step up with this conference.

These are just some of the bigger conferences that are around (keep checking back as Omnific adds more of them to our schedule). We'll be talking later about some of the smaller conventions and conferences that our authors and Omnific will be attending as well. And make sure to stop by and say hi to us when you see us, we LOVE our readers and our authors!!

Now, since it is's time to BOUNCE!!

Here's how this works:

If you are an author, click on "Get the Code Here" to get the link. Copy and paste that link in your blog post. Then hop right on and add your blog url to get added to the list.

If you are a reader, you get to bounce from blog to blog and meet some great new authors and maybe find some new books to read.

  1. Sounds like a great lineup...especially London! I loved RT last year and got to meet wonderful Omnific ladies and gents.

  2. I really wish I could go to RT this year. I am planning to go to RWA instead. Hope I will get to meet some of the Omnific folks there!

  3. I will be in London! I'm traveling over from Ireland and I can't wait to catch up with some of the Omnific team there. I'm also planning to be around for The Hay Festival in Kell, Co, Meath at the end of June.
